Frequently Asked Questions

What is Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique?

The Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique (QHHT) is a past life regression technique that is infinitely more profoundly powerful than a standard hypnosis session.

Pioneered by the very generous and gifted Delores Cannon, QHHT provides practitioners with the ability to take clients to a much deeper level of trance in order to gain direct communication with the client’s the Subconscious (also referred to as the Higher Self).

The Subconscious has the answer to every question you have ever wanted to know about yourself and has the ability to perform spontaneous healing when appropriate.

What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is the name given to a psychological state that we experience naturally

in our everyday lives.

Have you ever been so involved in reading a book that you haven’t heard someone calling your name for several minutes? Do you sometimes get lost in a daydream? Or have you ever been driving to work and suddenly realised that you don’t remember the last 10 kilometres?

These are all examples of when we naturally go into a trance state – literally a level of hypnosis.

What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a form of psychotherapy that utilised the hypnotic state. A qualified hypnotherapist gently assists clients to easily and quickly reach this special state so that profound and lasting changes are able to be made at the subconscious level.

Clients often report how delighted they are that the changes are so easy and natural - some clients don’t even realise they have automatically engaged in the new behaviour!

How does Hypnotherapy work?

Hypnotherapy works by directly accessing a client’s unconscious mind in order to re-align beliefs and behaviours with the clients desired outcome behaviour.

Hypnotherapy works by engaging the client’s unconscious mind to utilise its own resources to make the change required.

The unconscious mind ultimately protects us. It reacts by filtering responses through our past experiences and our beliefs. In fact, every negative behaviour that we engage in actually has a positive/protective aspect to it.

Although, sometimes the subconscious gets confused as to what is really good for us.

For example, the subconscious might think that overeating is somehow protecting you

when in fact being fit and healthy is much better protection.

Can I be hypnotised?

The state of hypnosis is something experienced by everyone everyday therefore everyone can hypothetically be hypnotised by a skilled hypnotherapist.

It is important to remember that at no time are you giving up control of your mind –

you will just be listening with a different part of your mind.

First time clients are often pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to achieve the perfect relaxed hypnotic state and most clients find it easier to return to that lovely state each time they visit.

Are there any side effects?

Hypnotherapy engages the client’s own unconscious mind to make the behavioural and belief changes required to achieve the desired outcome therefore the only side effects reported by clients is the shift from the negative behaviour to the new desired outcome behaviour/belief!
